Design Lead Cabin & Cabin Systems - internal position- 


Responsible for daily follow-up of cabin related design projects (TUI P21J) and configuration and standardization control for all cabin and cabin systems related projects (TUI P21J & out). Align all requests with TUI Aviation Design procedures and standards. 



  • Liaise with DM on all projects
  • Liaise with camo’s/client for design requests + support
  • Compile ECR for TUI P21J cabin projects
  • Provide ECR compilation support to coordinator for P21J out mods
  • Propose MOD path to DM (design manager) for approval (in-house mod or out)
  • Align all requests with coordinator for tracking purposes
  • Responsible configuration & standardization ALL cabin projects (P21J TUI and P21J out)
  • Daily follow up of progress ( projects P21J TUI) – TECH
  • Insure ETD met (delivery time)
  • Provide MHS (manhours) & costs made for tracking purposes
  • Leading team in discipline for selected projects
  • Distribute approved projects compilation to team
  • Distribute finished project to clients
  • Business case creation support
  • Propose design improvements – config, materials etc)
  • Provide technical/certification support to cabin design personnel
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to coordinators and to group airlines concerning cabin related projects
  • POC (point of contact) with fleet/CAMO/client for   
  • Insure alignment with all group airlines for cabin projects


The following training must be obtained and completed


  • EASA Part 21 course
  • EASA CS25 course
  • DOE training/ IPM (interface procedure manual) training
  • Specific training per discipline


Experience as P21/ CVE required


  • Excellent knowledge EASA Part 21/EASA Part M/ EASA part 145 regulations
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Excellent knowledge of CS25
  • Good knowledge of MS office suite
  • knowledge of autocad or similar preferred
  • Excellent knowledge  of OEM or TC/STC documents like;  AMM,IPC,CMM,FIM,etc
  • Excellent knowledge  of English  terminology
  • Knowledge of MS (microsoft) projects
  • Knowledge of access
