What will you be doing?
- Carry out internal Part 145 audits, including maintenance sample audits and aircraft inspections
- Assist in the supplier approval process, if required carry out audits of suppliers and subcontracted organisations
- Provide on-site support for the TUI EM WR
- Develop a close relationship with all responsible managers within the Part 145 organisation to promote the Quality and Safety systems within the organisation
- Review applicable standards for each audit and prepare documentation including the updating of audit checklists, where required
- Manage internal approval process, including organisation & performance approval board interviews and administration of Amos database
- Issue of single event authorisations
- Organise audit opening meetings to ensure that the scope of the audit is fully understood
- Organise audit closing meetings to ensure that audit findings are fully understood by the managers responsible and that timescales for corrective / preventive actions are agreed
- Demonstrate an ‘added value approach’ to auditing and work proactively with the auditee to develop preventative actions that benefit the operation
- Ensure that all findings are closed within agreed timescales and that necessary steps are taken to escalate overdue findings
- Prepare audit reports for directors and senior management which detail the findings and summarise the audit as a whole
- Maintain an effective working relationship with the Regulatory Authority, interfacing as necessary on regulatory and audit matters, and support external audits of the organisation
- Maintain accurate and up to date information within the departmental Quality Database
- Analyse and review any Maintenance Organisation audit trends and recommend appropriate actions
- Prepare responses to external audit findings, e.g. from the Regulatory Authorities and customers
- Take an active role in projects and departmental initiatives as required
- Drawing up a training plan for the technical staff in line with TUI EM WR management requirement, so that workers always hold the required qualifications (internal & external).
- Train the technical staff at TUI EM WR and taking care of the teaching material with a view to an optimal transfer of knowledge and skills (including P145 & H&S).
- Managing the database related to training and other administration, so that the database is all the time up-to-date and correctly filled.
- Manage investigations and reporting of Technical & Maintenance Occurrence reports.
- Review and administer the TUI EM PAC applications
- Drive the internal training program for interns and junior technicians
- TUI EM Part-66 AML application support
- Admin support : Derogations, statement letters, support procedural review
Are you the smile we are looking for?
- Hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers licence covering large modern transport aircraft or relevant Engineering Degree
- Relevant aircraft experience across line and base maintenance
- Either possess a recognised Lead Auditor qualification or have the ability to work towards achieving this
- Excellent working knowledge of EASA Part-145 & Part-66 along with knowledge of Part M & Part 147 regulations
- Proven track record in building strong working relationships with customers (internal & external)
- Good computer skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes; knowledge of AMOS would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of IQSMS Safety, Quality & Risk software would be an advantage.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely within a matrix organisation
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Belgium, the EU and overseas
