TUI fly’s engineering department (the only aircraft operator in Belgium also holding an EASA Part-21 Design Organisation Approval) is responsible for the technical follow-up of our fleet, (the fleet currently consists of 34 aircraft: Boeing 767, Boeing 737MAX, Boeing 787, Boeing 737NG & Embraer 190) and is the engineering center of excellence for the B737MAX fleet within the TUI Group. In view of our strong growth ambitions we are looking for new colleagues to reinforce the engineering department.

As Maintenance Program Engineer you will develop and update the Maintenance Programs of the fleet under supervision of TUI Airlines Belgium Part M, to ensure cost-effective maintenance, in line with the EASA regulations and industry best practices.

What you will be doing

  • Review changes to the manufacturers’ recommendations, regulatory requirements and their effect on the TUI customized Maintenance Programs
  • Liaise with the manufacturers regarding scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Review and integrate the recommendations from TUI engineering and the TUI Reliability Control Program into the Maintenance Program
  • Manage and create scheduled maintenance task cards
  • Optimize the maintenance program in function of the aircraft operations

Are you the smile we need?

  • You have a bachelor or master degree in Aeronautics (or equal through experience)
  • You preferably have experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of AMOS software is an asset.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part-M and Part-145 is an asset.
  • You have good communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • You have good knowledge of standard IT applications (MS Office, …)
  • You are professional, proactive and accurate
  • You are independent, flexible and have a solution-oriented approach to work
  • You  work in an international environment and with multi-cultural teams
  • Aviation and continuous improvement are in your DNA
